Family Tradition
Established in 1945 by Floyd F. Beechwood, Mid-Western Machinery continues to be ran by the Beechwood family. As tradition is handed down, the same founding principals of manufacturing remain strong. While many companies have come and gone, Mid-Western has remained. Our modern facility is located in the heart of the USA in Joplin, Missouri on a 45,000 square foot campus.
Manufacturing Facility
For 60 years we’ve been designing and manufacturing components for rock drills. Our proven designs have been copied but never equalled. Since the first day we opened for business, we didn’t compromise quality. We can proudly say that today we still don’t.
To us it makes no sense to cut corners when we build our products. Our designs have been tested and proven to work better than anything else. It’s a commitment to excellence that comes first and to put a product in your hands that does its job without fail.
Three HR Drill Series to Choose From
MW is introducing a fully hydraulic drilling unit available in several options. The simple design offers more value and more versatility for individuals wishing to purchase a hydraulic unit.
The HR series provides a solution to those looking for the functionality of more expensive machines without the price tag. The machine is powerful enough for many applications. We offer HR 110 drills as stand-alone, trailer mounted, and diesel or gas powered skid loaders.

HRM 110
MINI-SKID DRILL
• Tread driven, diesel or gasoline powered mini-skid
• Mini-skid includes a bucket and can also be fitted with many accessories such as a trencher, backhoe, snowblower or tiller
• Adjustable drilling angle allows for vertical bore holes or angled holes up to 45°
• Rear outriggers for stability
• Can handle up to 12” augers
• Portable and simple design allows the unit to reach locations normally inaccessible
• Stand on, low step, non slip operator platform. 360 degree visibility
• Instrumentation panel includes: hour meter, tachometer, low fuel warning light and low hydraulic oil warning light
