Storage Tanks

These tanks are very cost effective from 50,000 gallons to over 2,000.000 gallons. They incorporate a liner and sand and another liner. Some of the applications are: potable water storage, fire suppression, water storage tanks, process water storage, manure storage, containment tanks. Available with or without covers.

Choose our Galvanized Steel Structure for Economical &
Environmentally Sound Storage of Clean Water and
Waste Slurries

This is North Americas’s toughest above ground moveable storage system. It can be erected at the yard site or at a remote site, making off site storage of any liquid a viable option. Capacities from 150,000 US gallons to 1.8 million US gallons can be safely stored in this corrosion resistant structure. One of the great features of this tank is the patented flexible floor system that can be economically sloped to form a wide variety of floor shapes. This floor can be shaped to ease agitation, or to collect solids for removal.

Economical lease agreements are possible because this tank design does not require a concrete base and is moveable. This structure can be used to store potable water, industrial wastewater, livestock slurry, and Septic slurry.

SAFE

This heavy-duty maintenance free structure is designed for long-term storage of liquids in extreme environments. All steel components are galvanized to prevent corrosion. All joints are gasketed. The double polymer liner floor provides a safe flexible base designed for storage of toxic wastes.

ECONOMICAL

This liquid storage structure costs significantly less than other steel storages and is 100 percent leaseable. You don’t even have to own the land that this moveable structure is erected on. The expensive concrete base traditionally used for above ground bolted structures is not required. Galvanized panels are maintenance free and if damaged, easily repaired.

MOVABLE

Unlike conventional earthen, steel with concrete base, and whole concrete storages that cannot be moved, this storage can be dismantled and relocated to a new site. This provides an opportunity for term contracts. Ninety percent of your material investment can be recovered when storage is dismantled and moved.

ZERO MAINTENANCE

No paint, no caulking, no sacrificial corrosion bars, no concrete, this all means a worry free, zero maintenance storage system. If the galvanized coating is scratched off simply apply a zinc rich paint over the area. The corrosion prevention system selected for this storage is based on design recommendations published by The American Society for Metals (ASM).

FEATURES

  •  150,000 us gallons to 1.8 million US gallons capacities.
  •  Designed following the American Society of Agricultural Engineering (ASAE) structural code for liquid storage tanks.
  •  Design approved by a registered Professional Engineer.
  •  All steel components are galvanized to prevent corrosion as recommended by the American Society for Metals (ASM).
  •  Extra heavy galvanized coat available for waste liquid storage.
  •  Double-layered polymer lining floor, mechanically sealed to interior wall.
  •  Galvanized steel piles at 9 feet spacing around perimeter of tank.
  •  Rigid wall not affected by extreme wind blasts.
  •  All joints sealed with full gaskets, no caulking.

2007 GALVANIZED STORAGE TANKS

The entire line of slurry storage tanks have been redesigned for 2007. Pre-engineered tank packages are shipped with assembly drawings and basic assembly instructions.

  • Tank options remain the same
  • Standard package for concrete foundation
  • Optional steel pile foundation, and tank base double liner system

New Features

  • Higher strength steel
  • Panels and all components are galvanized in the final fabrication stage to further improve corrosion resistance at bolt holes and at sheet edges
  • Hot dip galvanized panels have a thicker zinc coat than steel mill coated
  • Wall panels are flat sheets to ease assembly and improve fit
  • Larger wall sheets have fewer seams and reduce assembly time.

New Material Specification

  • Wall panels 80 ksi yield Hot Dip Galvanized
  • Wall Columns 80 ksi yield Hot Dip Galvanized
  • Structural brackets 80 ksi yield Hot Dip Galvanized
  • Fasteners 130 ksi yield zinc plated, undercut head with poly washer

New Product description

  • All galvanized bolted steel construction
  • Wall columns at 12 foot spacing around perimeter of tank
  • Wall sheets reinforced with base angle
  • Standard wall packages include a double walled structural
  • Reinforcement at top to protect against collapse in extreme winds

Optional Steel piles

  • 10 ft long steel pile with a thick plate at bottom
  • Pile head tapped to receive 1.25 inch tread for adjustment
  • Piles secured to wall column with bolted bracket

Optional Double Liner

  • Two liner system liners separated by 6 inch sand barrier
  • Top liner exposed in tank base
  • Liners mechanically secured to tank wall at base
