Swirl Separators

The First Attack on Solids

Swirl separators are often used as the first attack on solids -- such as uneaten feed and feces -- in an aquaculture system.

Suspended solids "swirl" around the tank as they slowly descend to settle on the bottom of the settling cone. The clean water continuously exits through the outlet pipe at the top of the water column.

Swirl separators are available in a range of flow capacities.
