The 460i Electronic Control

With a demand regeneration control that programs itself to actual water usage, the 460i measures and remembers how much conditioned water is used daily. By constantly monitoring changes in water demand, and regenerating only when needed, the 460i offers substantial savings on salt and water. As water usage patterns change, the 460i automatically compensates.

The 440 Timer Control

With just two simple settings, the 440 Timer Control can be programmed to initiate regeneration of the water conditioning system at intervals of up to six or seven consecutive days. And unlike other systems, a single synchronous motor provides all of the power for both the timer and operation of the valve.

The Series 255 Valve

With fewer parts than any other comparable water conditioning control system, Autotrol's rugged Noryl Series 255 Valve is designed for simplicity and built for years of trouble-free, uninterrupted performance.

1. The 255 Valve design simplifies troubleshooting and servicing. The injector, injector screen, backwash and brine control are all easily accessible.
2. A clear air check eliminates the need to disconnect the brine line to check for vacuum air leaks.
3. A separation feature, unique to the 255, provides true convenience. Simply pull out the locking bar to remove the control module. There is no need to disassemble the entire valve for replacement, so all the plumbing connections and the distributor are left intact.

Bypass Valve

The optional Series 156 Bypass Valve is available to accommodate those occasions when the water conditioning system must be bypassed. This ensures complete versatility and easy plumbing in any installation, as well as simplicity of operation.

The Autotrol Turbulator

A backwash distributor with a stirring difference, the Turbulator does not rely on the conventional riser system. Instead, the turbulator utilizes a water stream compression device that stirs up the resin bed to increase the iron removal and conditioner efficiency. The Turbulator propels resin beads at high speed to the top of the resin bed, then allows them to settle back to the bottom. Small particles of dirt and iron are scrubbed from the beads and flow to the drain. With the Turbulator, the resin beads stay cleaner and last longer at minimal extra cost.
