Sunlight Systems

Aquaculture (SL and SUN PVC Series)

For aquaculture applications requiring a PVC vessel, Sunlight Systems offers a number of UV disinfection systems.

These units can be used for aquatic centers, farming applications, salt water and other associates needs.

The following is a list of information needed to size the system:

• Is the flow a single pass or a re-circulation loop?
• How much water is in the pond/aquarium?
• What is the flow rate as provided by the pump or gravity?
• What is the required pressure rating?
• What is the required dosage as expressed in uWs/cm2?
• What microorganisms are being targeted?

Once the above information has been obtained, a system can be sized.

Pond Applications (SL Series)

All units are PVC and are rated for 50 psi of operating pressure. Options include: manual quartz sleeve wiping, outdoor enclosures and running time metering.

Large Flow Applications (SUN PVC Series)

Above sizing is based on a UV transmission of 85% and an end of lamp life dosage of 30,000 uWs/cm2.

All units are PVC and are rated for 100 psi of operating pressure. Options include: manual quartz sleeve wiping, outdoor enclosures and UV monitoring.
