Coral Sea Series

2,800 to 6,800 U.S. gal. (10,599 to 25,741 litres) per day
117 to 283 U.S. gal. (442 to 1,073 litres) per hour

The Coral Sea models have been redesigned to offer higher watermaking capacities and even quieter, more efficient operation. Their increased production capabilities make them ideal for mega-yachts, commercial fishing vessels, work boats, oil rigs, charter boats, and for onshore facilities such as villas, small hotels, and private residences.

Coral Sea frames are constructed of a lightweight aluminum and are coated with electro-statically applied epoxy. Installed within the frame are the highest quality marine grade materials and components. The new systems are available in horizontal, vertical, and modular configurations.

Increasing the Coral Sea's watermaking capacity is designed for simplicity. Water production increases by 15-25% with each additional reverse osmosis membrane depending upon the initial and final system configuration. Factory upgrades kits make installation a snap.

Unique among water makers, Sea Recovery delivers complete R.O. systems, ready to produce water immediately after installation. All necessary plumbing for onboard use is included.

All models are covered by a one-year warranty.

The new models feature a state-of-the-art controller with a user-friendly LCD touchscreen interface for easier operation. Sea Recovery has incorporated all stainless steel high pressure piping, hard plumbing, and Chemical Duty motors into these units. Coral Sea units also incorporate dual overpressure protection and multiple safety systems.

SALT REJECTION (CHLORIDE ION): Minimum 99.2%, Average 99.5%

PRODUCT WATER TEMPERATURE: Ambient to feed water temperature

SALINITY MONITORING: Automatic electronic monitoring. Temperature
compensated with the Water Quality Indicator. The salinity monitoring components of the system give a continuous TDS readout in TDS ppm or EC (microsiemens), are temperature compensated, and of a fail safe design.

SALINITY RANGE: Designed for Seawater use up to 50,000 PPM TDS (NaCl) (typical seawater salinity is 35,000 ppm)

TEMPERATURE RANGE: Max. 102oF / 39oC, Min. 36oF / .2oC

SYSTEM FEED WATER: Flow: 50 & 60 Hz, 8 - 16 gpm / 30 - 61 lpm

REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE: High Rejection/High Yield aromatic tri-polyamid, thin film composite, spiral wound, single pass reverse osmosis high rejection membrane element.

CHLORINE TOLERANCE: 0.1 PPM

pH RANGE: 3-11 (typical seawater pH is 8)

SYSTEM PRESSURE:
Feed Water: Minimum: 6 psi /   .41 bar /   .42 Kg/cm2
Maximum: 35 psi / 2.41 bar / 2.11 Kg/cm2
System Operation: Seawater @ 35,000 ppm & 77oF / 25oC
Nominal: 850 psi / 59 bar / 59.7 Kg/cm2. (Brackish varies w/ppm)

RECOMMENDED CIRCUIT BREAKER: The recommended Circuit Breaker Size assumes that the Coral Sea R.O. System is equipped with only two electric motors (Booster Pump Motor and High Pressure Pump Motor). If an optional Feed Pump is also used, the Circuit Breaker must be sized appropriately to handle all three motors.
