Sea Recovery
AquaWhisper Watermaker
The Sea Recovery Advantage

Your Fresh Water Wish Is Our Command
Whether you enjoy the luxury of a megayacht or the excitement of
a smaller boat, your expectations from a watermaker should be
the same. It should reliably produce safe drinking water on demand,
regardless of sea condition. Sea Recovery watermakers are capable
of supplying the fresh water requirements of vessels from a small
25 ft. cruiser to the largest of megayachts. Each system is fully
tested and ready to produce upon installation.

ABS Certificate of Approval
"Winning the World Over!"
Once again Sea Recovery continues to set the standards by becoming
the first Reverse Osmosis Desalination manufacturer to have both
the entire Marine and Commercial product lines Type Accepted by
ABS-American Bureau of Shipping. A unique claim that no other
RO Desalinator manufacturer can offer.
NMMA Membership
For 24 years, Sea Recovery has been an active member in good standing with The National Marine Manufacturers Association.
CE Approval
All Sea Recovery systems are CE Approved and meet stringent safety
requirements.
Certifications and Standards
In a continuous effort to achieve the highest possible quality,
Sea Recovery manufactures all equipment to industry standards
set forth by marine and industrial institutions including that
of the ASME, ASTM, API, AWWA, NEC, NEMA, certain Military specifications
and several other rigorous standards and requirements.
The ABC's of the Reverse Osmosis Process
A. Salt or brackish water enters the system from a through-hull
fitting and is filtered by the Sea Strainer. The feed water is
then boosted in pressure to 20 psi by the Booster Pump. Various
standard and optional prefiltration systems then filter the feed
water down to 5 micron. These filters remove plankton, sediment,
suspended solids, silt and even oil from the feed water prior
to entering the High Pressure Pump. A Low Pressure Switch stops
the system in the event of a low flow condition.
B. The High Pressure Pump supplies the required force to drive
the feed water through the Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Membranes. A
Regulating valve sets the proper pressure level for optimized
production and the high pressure switch protects the system from
excessive pressure. Concentrated brine is registered at the flow
meter and then routed through the Brine Dump Tee connector to
waste.
C. The fresh water produced freely flows out of the R.O. Membranes
and is up to 99.4% free of salts, minerals and other ions. The
Product Flow Meter registers the amount of potable water produced.
The Salinity Probe automatically adjusts for temperature changes
and registers the salt content of the product water. The Charcoal
Filter and U.V. Sterilizer remove odors and sterilize the final
Product water.
During shutdown periods the Automatic Fresh Water Flush system
protects system components from corrosion and fouling. Other optional
components are also available to enhance the system operation
and performance including Remote Control Units, Plankton Filters,
Manual Rinse and Cleaning Valves.
